At least five spirits have taken up residence during the storied history of Brinton Lodge. Identified in the 1970s by British psychic-medium Don Galloway, these otherworldly visitors continue to lurk in the passageways and rooms of the 300 year old mansion. Over time, the Lodge has developed a well-known reputation as one of the most haunted places in the area.
Explore this haunted mansion by candlelight, and discover a hidden world of ghosts, mysteries, and supernatural encounters! Through darkened halls and secret rooms, this candlelight ghost tour leads you into an otherworldly realm that overlaps with our own. You will have the opportunity for your own close encounter using the ancient technique of dowsing rods.

Tours last approximately 90 minutes. The evening includes a tour of the building and time to explore on your own. Please note: many guests have used ghost hunting apps on their smart phones during the tour with great success.
Private Paranormal Investigations
Brinton Lodge is available for paranormal investigations and ghost hunts. Included in the cost of rental is access to the first and second floors, a set-up location, electricity, EMF meters (if needed), and a site guide to answer questions. The Ghosts
The well-documented hauntings at the Lodge are reported to involve at least five spirits: Dapper Dan, Caleb Brinton, an older woman believed to be Caleb's mother, a "lady in white," and a young girl. Visiting mediums have also felt that the site is a portal between this world and the Other Side. Previous owners have reported apparitions, disembodied footsteps, displaced objects, and more. One of the strangest unexplained encounters involves the "Dark Shadow, " which has a long history of haunting the Lodge with first-hand accounts dating back to at least the 1980s and continuing to this day.
